Our 18 month old

Tyler is 18 months old today, and continues to steal our hearts every single second. He is growing up so fast, but is still our special little baby bear cub. For his 1 1/2 year birthday, a new haircut. Now I am going to be stopped by even more people in the mall asking if they are twins (if that's possible)!

how could we be so blessed?

Thanksgiving

What a joyous thanksgiving we had! My parents came into town, and we celebrated with them, Jeremy's Parents, Great Grandmom, and Sarah came home from college. Although we greatly missed Annie and Becca, we made special memories and had such a wonderful holiday!

The food was incredible, my mom and mom-in-law make an excellent cooking team!
Micah helped make the rolls with aunt Rah Rah.
Unfortunately, Tyler slept through the entire dinner, but he had fun the rest of the day when he was awake.
Happy Late Thanksgiving from us to you!!

Happy Birthday, Micah!

Micah turned 3!!! We still can't believe that our oldest little boy is three years old. The time has flown by, and it makes us want to enjoy each minute with our boys all the more. We celebrated with two parties - one the night before his birthday and another on his birthday day.
First we went to Grandmom and Poopah's house for dinner and a special birthday cake! Whenever anyone asked Micah what he wanted for his third birthday, he would say "a chocolate cake!"

then he opened presents from grandmom and poopahAZA (the AZA is Tyler's special typing touch to this post)

He was so excited about his presents: Thomas and Friends trains!!! He got 5 new trains, as well as some new pj's and a memory game.

The next day we celebrated his birthday downtown at Crown Center with Anabelle and Melinda, and mommy and daddy & tyler. We went to Micah's favorite place - Fritz's Train Restaraunt, where the trains deliver your delicious fried food right to your table. Melinda brought Micah a birthday cake with Thomas the train driving around a track on the top - it was so cool, and his very own wooden train set! Micah was thrilled about all of it - the trains, the food, the birthday cake and dessert, the friends, and the presents. Mommy and daddy got him a new diego movie, that he was thrilled about, a train whistle and a new CD - Dan Zanes "Catch That Train!"

And since Tyler didn't show up in any of these pics, here's some of the two of them together. They are getting so big!

trick or treat?

This halloween was spent with close friends and family - The Smiths, their family, and our Grandmom. The boys loved being in costume and Micah had so much fun going around to houses with his best friend Anabelle (he recently told me "anabelle's my favorite girl, mommy!") and eating candy.

First was a trip to see "Big Grandmom" (what Micah named her) in the nursing home

Then we went off to have dinner with everyone, and Melinda out did herself with a fall feast!

Then it was time to go trick or treating. I don't think Micah ever actually said, "trick or treat" at a house. He knew how to, but each time a new door would open, his jaw would drop, he would stare wide-eyed at the person inside and hold out his little bag for treats. It was too cute.

And the scariest picture of all.....micah's blair witch picture
