He's FOUR!!!
Our oldest son, Micah, turned 4!!!! We remain in a literal state of shock that the past four years have blown past us - it's truly surreal as our parents always told us! Now we begin to understand a milifraction of what they meant in telling us, "you grew up TOO fast!" We feel it. Micah's first four years of life have gone so fast, and in those, the best four years of our lives so far, there have been so many blessings and adventures watching him grow into the little man that he is - intelligent, vibrant, full of life and color, and joy in it's purest form follows him everywhere he goes. We are truly blessed beyond anything words on a blog post could describe. We love you, Micah, you are a piece of heaven on earth to us!
Love,
your mommy and daddy

Life is full of miracles and Micah Kent Parsons our precious grandson is a miracle from the Lord to our family. I remember the day the doctor said it didn't look good for Ashley to ever have children. We were devastated.
But, God in His goodness had a greater plan and His plan was to bless all of our lives not only with one but two of the most precious grandsons in the world, who fill our lives with understanding afresh what it means to love unconditionally and to enjoy life with excitement, fun and anticipation.
How could we ask for a greater blessing than this. Two little boys who I believe, because of loving Godly parents, will grow up to turn the world upside down for Jesus.
So, when I say Happy Birthday our precious Micah, I know that Micah understands what it means to be HAPPY and loves so much.
My call to Micah on his birthday...."Happy Birthday Micah", Micah's response, "Happy Birthday Nana." That says it all, because Micah in his selfless way wants everyone else to be just as happy and treated 100% special as he is treated. He wanted me to have a Happy Birthday day too!
And that everyone is the rest of the story.
I love you and miss you soooooooo much Micah, and I am so proud to be called your Nana.
