hold on tight folks...this is gonna be a big one!!!

My parents came to town - YAY! It was so much fun just being around them for the week and 1/2 they got to come stay, and enjoying them enjoying the boys - what a great blessing for us and the boys! Here's a chronicle of what we did...

they had a great time reading books every night before bed. The favorite was Diego's "great whale rescue" everyone say "aaahooooooaaaahh"

then they worked on painting their first canvases ever for wall decor for their room. they did GREAT. tyler was quite the natrual artist. Micah was much more careful and calculated...



needless to say, we had an absolute blast and were sorry to see them go.

meet Fritz

Oh, the adventures of having little boys! And all the greater the adventures when daddy works outside and brings home the first live frog you've ever seen! Admittedly, I was more excited than they were - at first. I think their reactions in the pictures are a mix of "we just woke up" and "what the...??" The frog seemed to have the same reaction. Of course, after he was released, the noble frog was given a name by Micah, FRITZ the frog, and for some reason, after he had long hopped away, he was the new EXCITING topic of conversations around the dinner table.

this is what happens when your dinner guests are late and you have a few minutes on your hands and a 3 year old who's dad let him watch the Simpsons for the first time and he loves it!
