Trick or Treat!
This halloween was a trip. The boys, despite my pathetic begging them to be the rat brothers from Ratatoullie and time after time of Tyler saying, "I don't wanna be RAT!", decided that they wanted to be 2 of their favorite storybook/movie characters - Thomas the tank engine and James.
We celebrated in our traditional KC fashion, by going over to our dear friends house, Andrew&Melinda (and, of course, anabelle).
Mel outdid herself yet again with an incredible fall dinner, and we enjoyed a night together with their family and LOTS and LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of candy!!!!

Those pictures were worth the wait! Did Micah wheel his Thomas suitcase around all night? Too stinkin' cute.

Micah's dream of "being Thomas" has finally come true. And Tyler got to tag along as James! :) I wonder if Tyler will always be whatever Micah wants him to be?
Like, when B&S were little, and Sarah felt like she had to like cats because Becca already liked dogs.
Or when Josh and Noah were fighting over who got to be Indiana Jones, and Josh told Noah, "How about we're BOTH Indiana Jones, but you call me Indiana Jones and I call you Puff Boy?"
So sad. haha...
