"2nd Annual 4th of July Vaca with issues"

Our friends, the Kayls came to beautiful KC for the 2nd annual 4th of July vacation with us. As always, when there are 4 adults and 5 children (all under the age of 3), there were countless memories and a few little "issues." Here are ours and the kids top ten memories from the week...
1. Meeting new baby Caleb

2. Swimming at our friends pool

3. Playing in the kiddie pool at Grandmom and Poopah's house (by the end, even the Kayl boys were calling Paul and Susan this)

4. Bathtime together after we discovered Ezra had gone dookie in the kiddie pool and the kids had been drinking the water.

5. Date night at the Plaza

6. Sidewalk chalk in the hot Kansas sun

7. A nighttime swim for big people only (that's Jerome diving in)

8. Noah learning to do flips off the diving board

9. 4th of July party and playtime with friends

10. Watching the little ones experience the wonder of fireworks for the first time

What a blessing it was to enjoy old friends, and watch our kids now as they enjoy new friends in each other!

I agree. Two very good looking families. Too bad you don't live closer so you could enjoy each other's families more. Thanks for the pics.

I love how in every picture, Micah seems to be fascinated by Noah. He must be older and wiser. :)
