to market, to market, to buy a fat pig..

Last Saturday was filled with new adventures and great times to be together and recharge our batteries. First, we headed off in the morning to the Saturday River Market, which is basically Kansas City's equivalent to Portland's Saturday market, Seattle's Pike Place, etc. Not THE equivalent, Kansas City's equivalent!! We enjoyed talking with amish people that had come from miles around to sell their fresh produce and baked goods. We munched on cinnamon rolls, as well as picked up a fresh loaf of bread and clean, fresh veggies for our dinners.

Micah's favorite parts of the market:
#1. He got to bring Bee Bee along

#2. He got to go on a REALLY BIG SLIDE (well, this WAS one of his favorites, until he went down once and realized it was a little bigger than he thought)

#3. He got to see "Big Birds"


That night was date night, and Jeremy and I headed down to the Plaza, had dinner at Buca Di Beppo's, and walked around enjoying the summer night, the riverwalk, and each other.
