3 Stories

What beautiful boys we have! and the hilarity of childhood and watching them grow up is sometimes almost too much to take in. Tyler is starting to roll all around and is doing great at holding up his head. Micah has been so funny lately that we just must share some of the stories.

The Veggie tales story:
He loves listening to his Veggie Tales CD. But Mama can get pretty tired of it after the tenth time in one day. So, she had the brilliant idea of giving him his own CD player to listen to his own music on in his room. HE LOVES IT! He plays so much more in his room now, also, because he enjoys being in there with his special music. So the other night, his music is on in his room and he is playing in the living room when all of a sudden, he stands up and says "oh, I GOT.......VEGGIE TALES" meaning oh I forgot, veggie tales! Then he ran as fast as he could into his bedroom to keep listening.

The ummmm story:
One of his favorite new things to do is to list the foods that he likes to eat. The cute part is that he thinks of them as he goes along, so it sounds something like this: "ummmmm.......crackers....ummmm.......juice..ummmmm...apple juice..ummmmm
......cookies...ummm.......milk....um.....oatsoatsoats...ummm.."

The Prayer story:
Every night we say prayers at bedtime. He usually interrupts the prayer with random things that he wants to pray for. The pattern is usually praying for people "Grandmom, Rah Rah, Tyler, etc" last night the pattern was very interesting and very cute: "Horsey........Tanna (his new little girlfriend that kissed him).........Veggie Tales.........Bob (from V.T.)........Larry (also from V.T.).........and Football (he had watched a game with dada earlier that night)"

So those are just three of the little reasons why we love being parents. Amazingly enough there are very few things that top those moments, and you have to be a parent to understand why.
